Hello all, I work in a Pretty old school Fab shop here in Kentucky where our customer base is 95% industrial. We do have a machine Shop which is more cnc based but it is a seperate operation. Recently (about 2 years ago) we purchased a CNC plasma table. The table is a 5x10 water table from SWIFT CUT running the libellula software. There was a 1-2 day training session once the machine was delivered and setup. I am not autocad trained but with a free program that came on the plasma computer called Solid edge 2d I have came a long way (with the help of youtube). Although most of our work consist of pretty simple parts to draw up I have recently been downloading free DXF files online and making more fun stuff out of the abundance of scrap sheet metal laying around here. I have posted some of my cutouts on social media and was overwhelmed with the requests from people for some of it.
Anyway, thats my story, Im here to share and swap files and maybe troubleshoot with anyone else using the libellula program from Swiftcut.
Thanks
jeremy
