Just picked up my first plasma table (older Crossfire 2x2 with water table and laptop stand for under $1000) and a new Spectrum 875. I had both a Miller and Hypertherm growing up and a dinosaur of a Snap-On that I just sold after getting the new 875. I have been 3D printing for over a year and have worked as an engineer in manufacturing and machine shops for 10+.
Hoping to learn a few tips and tricks from the good folks here, I build custom cars in my spare time and need all sorts of bracketry so I figured this was a worthwhile investment.

Welcome!
Lots of great reading here and some helpful, friendly folks! A 2x2 sounds perfect for making brackets, etc for cars.
