All new to me.

Post by nhopkins »

Hello All,

My name is Nathan. I started teaching welding at HCHS last year. I was giving the opportunity to purchase a plasma table this year . I bought a Lincoln 4800 with a Flex cut 125. I am also new to CAD. I really appreciate you all taking me in.

Welcome aboard, it would help if you gave the name of the CAD program you have, of if you don't have and are looking for a suggestion for which to use. There are many different programs use by the membership here, knowing which have will direct which member could help. As a teacher you know there are different methods used, this is the same for CAD programs. It not the process they use but how they name them which can cause confusion. If you have a program stick with it, look at Google for tutorials for that program, this will also help when you have questions.
Great opportunity to help students see the direction design and fabrication is going, have fun.
