I've used a few of the designs that have been shared and I greatly appreciate the time and help that you have given me . This is my first shared file. It's for a local sheriff's deputy. Once it's cut he wants it to be painted black with a blue strip down the middle of the flag. I hope this helps someone

That file is fine. However, when you share a file, share it as OPEN and CLOSED PATHS, not cut paths. People cut with different kerf widths, so providing cut paths may cause issues. It is better to let the person convert a drawing to cut paths in their own software.

Also, use VIEW SELECT to find tidbits that need to be deleted so they do not mess up the design. Your original file has three segments that should be deleted before the cut is done. Also two tails that need to be clipped off to close the paths correctly.
