My wife and I and our family went camping this past weekend...so i decided a couple days before bout making her a collapsible firering with a adjustable grill....The thing worked perfect and it was filled with flowers an such that I got off this badass site!! It was a hit...people liked it so much had a couple of campers from down the way and stop an asked about it and bought one....So it was a great time!!

Just a quick question...how is this "portable"? I see in the picture one hinge, and on the opposite corner it appears not to be attached...the sides that is. I love your grill too. Surely you didn't cut that? Bob.

Its very portable...it has 5 hinges welded opposite of each other and folds up like an accordian, then has tabs on one end and slots on the other..they slip together, then you just shape it..its only like 1.25 inches thick when all folded up...the post is locked in with tabs so it slips right out and and grill just lifts up off the post..it is held there with gravity...and yes the grill is a skeleton that I had from some parts I cut at work..and thanks for the props! We had a blast using it...

Its very portable...it has 5 hinges
My mistake. In the photo those didn't look like hinges, rather more like angle iron. I can see now where it would be portable. Nice idea!!

Did you cut the grill part out as well? Or is it something else? Nice grill!

The grill was the skeleton of a paticular part we cut out at work..I just used the nest and cut a circle outta it...You can pretty much use any skeleton.."aslong as your food doesn't fall thru" lol
