They go for $79.....without the hitch and the ratchet strap. Should be able to ship flat rate USPS for about $15 or so.

Great job! I would like to know what type of material used and if you know about the weight you can lift. I wanted to put one on my tractor to lift a 2,000 kg. They are large bags of sand, I take a lot of work.

Thank you very much.

is 2,000kg the actual ball weight? If that's the case, I don't believe your bucket would have a straight edge if you concentrated 2t below a single point in the middle.
These hitches, along with those on a vehicle are designed for a load on wheels.
Are you talking bulk bags?

Nice design Jim, would be extremely handy for alot of different equipment.

yes, I'm talking about bulk bags. Now I have a steel cable with a lock and takes time to hook me. If you built with 10mm plate strong will it be enough? I have about the junkyard if necessary look for something with more thickness. And the tube 60x60x5mm.

thank you very much

I would agree....lifting that much weight from the center of the bucket would be tough on the lower edge of th bucket. You could build a frame that spreads the weight across the bucket for that purpose...should be pretty easy.

Hi Guys
I have used something like that, and all I did was take a chain from the base of the hitch and wrap it over the top of the bucket and tie it to the back to carry the load. I have lifted the big white bags of bulk wet sand, and you know how heavy they can be.

They're right, maybe I could bend at the center. It would be better to put 2 separate 1m between them and joined by a frame of something like the picture. So the weight would be more divided and the sides of the bucket would hold the most weight. What do you think?

sorry for the delay. Having the load spread across two clamps will greatly increase the capability for your purpose. I would also look at possibly extending the slot (make it longer) to increase the fulcrum length.
The closer to the edges of your bucket and the deeper the bucket goes into the slot = less stress / chance of bending your bucket edge
