Whats up with CandCNC?
Their website won't allow me to calculate shipping to Canada, so I've emailed several times now asking for a price for some equipment shipped to Canada, and still have not been able to get an answer. It's been three weeks. Is this normal?

No, that is not normal. They are usually right on it.
Try:
tom@candcnc.com
That is the email listed in the contact section of thier website and the same one I use for support. Try joining the support forum too via thier website.
Good luck,
WSS

Re: Whats up with CandCNC?
If I could figure out who you are I could make this happen but searching back 3 weeks through hundreds of e-mails to me did not come up with anything. it gets difficult because users have different ID's and names for different groups and for and e-mail account.
Here is how it (should) work. If You send me an e-mail and if it is something I can answer (like a technical question or product information or troubleshooting or how to use a plasma even) then I answer directly. If it is something I don't handle, like shipping rates or the current status of a specific order, I forward the request to our Customer Service Dept. Either your request got overlooked by me or it got overlooked by CS. i can figure it out if I knew what to search on.
There are other ways to get in touch.

Put in an order and use "Check or MO" as payment then put a note to send you shipping to CA rates. The Order hits the order desk and the people that have tose rates are the people that process orders.
I am going to setup a new set of e-mail addresses published on the Website and on the order blank that you can use to send a direct request to get rates and order status responses. IF I can get the silly USPS rates to stabilize I can put them back on for shipping to CA.
I know it's not your fault but i deal with from 40 to 70 emails a day and it can get staggering at times. I also monitor two major forums as owner/moderator and answer question son several others.
Anybody that has done business with us over the years will tell you we never leave customers twisting in the wind. We even help guys that have been orphaned by some of the flakes that have vanished over the years.
