height contol bouncing
I'm cutting .060 aluminum and I have an issue with the height control bouncing up and down rapidly as it travels intermitantly, It probably is moving an 1/8" up and down, causing a ruffer edge. Any Ideas?

Try faster cutting speed.

What version of DE are you using? Do you have Advanced Height Control? Have you tried adjusting the "Arc Voltage Shift"?

We cut a lot of aluminum of various thickness. First make sure you have a good ground from the table to the cut piece. Next check your force when moving setting, make sure it is at least set to 24! I had the same problem awhile back and Brian at tech had me check these. It has been working perfectly since.
